ROI (Region of Interest):
Maximum 4 regions of interest are configurable for individual streams. Detected
faces and license plate can be set as ROI and tracked dynamically. In low bit
rate situation, the encoding resources would be mainly allocated to the ROI to
improve the image quality. The improvements can be controlled through the ROI
level. The activation of ROI function would reduce the image quality of other
region, while sufficient bandwidth would eliminate the effect of ROI.
In 2 Series, fixed ROI can
be set for each stream and dynamic tracking is not supported. For 4 Series
products, 4 fixed ROIs can be allocated for each stream and dynamic tracking is
not supported.
