SUBJECT: Creation of batch files (* .bat) to run the WAVE client software by activating multiple monitors simultaneously.

Example:
if we have a Wave Client with more than one monitor connected (for example 3 monitors) and in each one we want to display different layouts, it is possible to do it through the batch file “wave.bat” which will automatically open the layouts defined for the user on the monitor set.
If it is necessary to activate the automatic opening when the Client PC starts, it is necessary to insert the batch file created in the Windows “Automatic Start” menu.

Steps:

1- create the necessary layouts for viewing on multiple monitors, saving them with a unique name

example saving layout with name Monitor1

In the left side under the heading “Layout” we will find the layouts created (example 3 layouts for 3 monitors connected to the client)

2- create the user who will use the client in the relevant section

3 – press “Edit Roles” and assign the layouts to the user created

4 – close the WAVE Client software

5 – modify the executable “Wisenet WAVE.exe” in “WisenetWAVE.exe”
(there should be NO SPACE before .exe)

In order to change it, go to the folder: C: / Program Files Hanwha Wisenet Wave Client 4.0.29786
select the file “Wisenet WAVE.exe” file and rename it to ” WisenetWAVE.exe”

Result:

6 – create the wave.bat file using the “Notepad” text editor

And enter the following commands:

And save it on hdd, and if necessary to execute it automatically on startup, save it to the path for Windows automatic startup
Here is the text for copying and pasting in your wave.bat file

ECHO OFF
cd “C:/Program Files\Hanwha\Wisenet Wave\Client\4.0.0.29786”
start WisenetWAVE.exe –screen=1 –no-single-application –auth=http://utente:Hanwha2019@172.23.23.200:7001 –layout-name=Monitor1

cd “C:/Program Files\Hanwha\Wisenet Wave\Client\4.0.0.29786”
start WisenetWAVE.exe –screen=2 –no-single-application –auth=http://utente:Hanwha2019@172.23.23.200:7001 –layout-name=Monitor2

cd “C:/Program Files\Hanwha\Wisenet Wave\Client\4.0.0.29786”
start WisenetWAVE.exe –screen=3 –no-single-application –auth=http://utente:Hanwha2019@172.23.23.200:7001 –layout-name=Monitor3

exit
